Our
dojo
isn't pretty, it isn't air conditioned, it isn't full
of trophies, and it's not full of bull. We train in a realistic
environment. It may be a warehouse, a park, a business
center, an office, a restaurant, or just outside in the elements
{rain, cold, heat, damp, mud, whatever it may be, it's not a cozy commercial class}
you have to train in the environment you will operate in.
GETTING SLAMMED ON A NICE CUSHY MAT IS NOT THE SAME AS GETTING SLAMMED IN A PARKING LOT OR FIGHTING AROUND TABLES!
many of our students are business owners and graciously provide
access during hours of operation for specialty classes such as Executive Protection classes and other areas of study.
It's about reality not commercialism.______________
You must train
in the environment you will operate in... It's hot in the
summer and cold in the winter. WE don't just fight each
other, we fight bugs and mosquitoes too:{ But it is
a clean and traditional dojo. Long ago the first
dojos were not schools in a shopping center, they were
the teacher’s home, a small clearing in the woods, or a shack. We subscribe to the old codes. A commercial location can not
afford us the opportunity to train as hard as we want to or use the training aids we use
{any idiot can block a rubber knife, take a hit from a padded stick or take away a rubber gun, but it's a whole 'nother world when a mistake can cost you your life}. We train in private. We train in adverse conditions, without water breaks and without lights. No warm ups, No BULL! JUST HARD TRAINING.

When the sun goes down it's dark. If you are looking for good lighting, temperature control, pictures on the walls and stacks of trophies, we are not for you. If you are looking for hard training by the old codes, real techniques, and have the heart and integrity to face the reality that there are really people out there who want to hurt you, we might be the school for you.
THOUGH YOU MAY ENROLL FOR FIGHTING, THIS SCHOOL IS NOT ABOUT BRAWLING, IT IS ABOUT GROWING THE WHOLE PERSON AND HAVING AN IMPACT ON THEIR LIVES IN MANY WAYS. THE COMBATIVE TRAINING IS ONLY A PATH THAT LEADS TO GREATER THINGS THAN FIGHTING.
