Classes are taught in a realistic setting.
We use small spaces and many obstacles that you would
encounter on the job. Training in a big open classroom is not
realistic. When you enter a home, there are many
obstacles you must navigate. We train around vehicles, mowers,
buckets, and whatever else you can think of to produce
the most realistic atmosphere.
Our
gun defenses are based upon realistic scenarios where
the officer would be compromised. In this scenario the officer
was in a dispute with the subject approaching the
aggressive physical level of the force matrix when he had his weapon
taken or another assailant approached from behind the
officer. The technique is designed not only to save the life of the
officer but also to give a measure of safety to
bystanders.

theories
of biomechanics.

Our courses for Law Enforcement take
the mandatory training standards to the next level. We teach advanced
methods of the techniques taught in the
academy. Students will learn to apply strict methods of biomechanics to
their training enabling a more affective and efficient
means of taking someone into custody. Many times the criminal
will grab his own clothing or an object trying to
avoid handcuffs. The student will learn techniques that comply with the
force matrix but with a martial arts flavor.
Techniques will include joint manipulation and holds that require far
more
practice than what is mandated. Classes are also
available for baton, weapon retention, takedowns, holds, transporters,
and frisks.

Classes are kept small and private. For security reasons,
{many of our applicants work under cover}
we offer total privacy as many agencies frown on
training outside of thier own curriculum. No receipts, no pictures,
no trace that you took the class.
